METTS, Charles Rice

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/10/2006 Charles Rice Metts died Feb. 4, 2006. He was born June 22, 1935 in Conroe, Texas, the second son of Leo and Mary Metts. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was very proud of his children. Charles is survived by three sisters, Ruby, Willie Jay and Oileen; his children, Leon (Rema) Metts of Phoenix, Eric (Mary) Metts, Daryl and Alex Metts of Hon Dah; three grandsons, Jared Metts, U.S. Army-Kuwait, Navarre Metts, Justin Metts; two granddaughters, Heidi Metts-Tom, Sarah Livingston-Metts; one great-granddaughter, Jaycee Snow Metts. He was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, first wife, Perry Metts; second wife, Maxine Metts, third wife, Brenda Metts. A memorial service will be held in Conroe, Texas.
