DAHMER, Donald A.

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 02/14/2006 Donald A. Dahmer, 73, of Casa Grande died peacefully at home Feb. 9, 2006 after a long illness. Mr. Dahmer was born April 23, 1932 in Detroit, son of George and Edith Dahmer. He served in the Army and was honorably discharged. He was a police officer for Shelby Township, Mich., serving 25 years and attaining the rank of captain. He was a big NASCAR fan and particularly liked Kevin Harvick. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survivors by his wife of 54 years, Lois; a daughter, Kriste Dahmer of Show Low; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Steven Dahmer, and a great grandchild, Paul Roy Dahmer. No service will be held at Mr. Dahmer's request.
