Sarah "Sarita" Romero Barreras, 91, Concho, a descendant of the original Concho settlers, passed away peacefully Feb. 13, 2006 in Tempe. 
      
Sarah was born Dec. 13, 1914, at Concho to Ramon and Concicion Romero. She married Greg O. Barreras Sept.. 28, 1933. 
      
Her survivors include son Wilfred (Adeline) Barreras, St. Johns; daughters Margie Torres, Phoenix, Elsie (Lorenzo) Duran, Tempe, and Angelina Barreras, Arlington, Texas; sister Juanita (E.M.) DeGlane, Concho; 16 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
      
Her husband Greg, preceded her in death.
      
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 17 with visitation one hour prior. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. Both services will be at St Rafael Catholic Church in Concho.
      
Burnham Mortuary was entrusted with the arrangements.
