PURSEL, Amy Jo


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/07/2006 Amy Pursel, 63, died at her home in Concho, Feb. 26, 2006. She was born Mar. 20, 1942 in Duxbury, Mass. She was retired as a medical language specialist. Amy was a quiet woman. She loved the beauty of nature and animals of all kinds. She was a talented and creative artist. She loved crafting, and pen and ink drawings. Amy developed her own label, called Teddy Den. and crafted handmade Teddy Bears which she marketed. Her survivors are sons John (Raxanne) Pursel, Grand Prairie, Texas, Mark (Coralina) Pursel, Lancaster, Calif. and Lans Pursel, Golden, Colo. She had 12 grandchildren. Preceding her in death were sons Paul DeBinder and Sean Pursel, husband, John J. Pursel, and her parents, Walter and Eva Mayo. A memorial Mass was held for Amy at the San Rafael Catholic Church, Concho Saturday, March 4. Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns, handled the arrangements.
