WILLIAMS, JR., James Edward (Eddie)


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/07/2006 James Edward Williams, Jr. "Eddie," 65, died at his home in Concho, Feb. 27, 2006. He was born to James Edward and Maxine Williams, July 26, 1940 in Phoenix. Ed was a heavy duty equipment operator for Tucson Electric Power until his retirement. He had a love of life and cared deeply for his family. Eddie loved raising horses and his small ranch consisted of a menagerie of animals. He loved sharing his beloved "funny farm" with all his critters. His survivors include wife, Gayle Williams, Concho; son Kenny Carter, Phoenix; daughters Tori Williams, Phoenix, Karen Carter, Phoenix, Kerri Jo Williams, Phoenix, and Jerri Jane Ruckstul, Ohio; his mother, Maxine Williams; brother, Murle Williams; and sister, Jo Ann Lee; along with eight grandchildren. His father James Edward Williams, Sr. and son James Edward III preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at the Sovereign Grace Baptist Church, Concho, Friday, Mar. 3. He was interred on the grounds of his beloved ranch at Concho. Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns, was in charge of arrangements.
