Jeffrey Scott Plummer, 52, passed away at home with his family at his side. He was born on Nov. 13, 1956 in King County, Wash., to John Morris and JoAnn (Hinrichs) Plummer.
Jeff graduated from Laguna Beach High School in 1975. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1976. In the early 1980s, Jeff went to Catalina Island, where he met and married his wife of 19 years, Linda Plummer. Jeff worked for many years as a professional mover on Catalina Island and even worked for the “City of Avalon.”
Jeff is survived by his wife Linda Plummer, of the Sterilite Corp; stepson, Frank Hayden Jr., of Lake Havasu Police Department; son, John Everett Plummer (14); father, John Morris Plummer, of Lake Havasu Nursing Center; brothers, John Alister Plummer, of Alaska, James Robert Plummer, of California (a former Havasu school teacher); cousin, Lynne Carry, of Washington; nephew, Kris Plummer; cousin, Ward Mitchell, of Washington; Aunt Alice, of Washington; uncle, David Plummer and family, of Washington; and granddaughter, Jade Serene Hayden (grandpa Jeff will be missed); nephews, Josh and Jordan Plummer; niece, Jacque Plummer; and sister-in-law, Joanne (Plummer) Vianos.
A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sept. 19 at 9 a.m.
