BARBER, Joseph David (Jo Jo)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/10/2006 Joseph David "Jo Jo" Barber, age 14, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006. He was born Nov. 28, 1991 in Mesa, Arizona. Joseph was an Eighth Grade student at Blue Ridge Junior High School. Joseph enjoyed fishing and hunting with his family. He also enjoyed shooting his BB gun with his friends in the forest. Joseph is survived by his father, David (Belinda) Barber of Lakeside; mother, Sheila Barry of Phoenix; sisters, Cari Sanders of Mesa, Jenne Barber of Apache Junction, Jessica Barber of Lakeside, Jamie Sanders of Lakeside and Joni Barber of Gilbert; brothers, Elder Brady Sanders serving in the Orlando, Florida Mission of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joshua Barber, David Barber, Jr. and Timothy Barber all of Lakeside; grandparents, Joe and Joan Barber of Gilbert and Liola Walker of Valparasio, Ind. Funeral Services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the Gilbert Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Interment was in the Mesa City Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
