Floyd D. Holt died June 12, 2010, in Tucson. He was born April 29, 1929, to Fred and Mary Holt in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was a longtime resident of Show Low, and served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Floyd was a member of the BPOE, VFW, American Legion of Show Low. A volunteer driver of the Veterans' Van to Phoenix, and donated time at the Northland Pioneer College Library.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Jimmie Low West and wife Julia.
He is survived by his children, George (Tami) Holt, Annette (David) Hartman, Velda (Jack) Stroup, Gaye (Don) Stone, all of Tucson; grandchildren Kevin, Cameron and Quinton Holt. Daniel and Chrystal Hartman, John and Linda Stroup, Lorane Hudson and Jacqueline Morris; great-granddaughters Amelia Hartman and Jessie Stroup; sister, Mary Jo Snow and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
