WALKER, Todd Leroy

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/17/2006 Todd Leroy Walker, 42, died Monday, March 13, 2006 in Pinetop. He was born in Roseville, Calif. His family moved to northwest Phoenix when he was 3 years old. He attended Moon Mountain Elementary and Thunderbird High School. As a young man he participated in Pop Warner football and little league baseball. During high school he participated in wrestling. Following high school he went to work as a tree trimmer. His work took him to San Diego for a brief period before returning to Phoenix. In 1997 he moved to Pinetop. His work took him back and forth from Phoenix to Pinetop numerous times. He was also a Self Defense Instructor. He is survived by his daughters, Janine Walker of Pinetop and Tara Walker of Phoenix; parents, Donna and Joseph Didyoung of Pinetop; many aunts and uncles; sisters, Kim Didyoung of Phoenix, Tina Holcomb of Pinetop and Laura Coy of Malibu, Calif.; and granddaughter, Jadyn Davis of Phoenix. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 17 at Owens Mortuary in Show Low.
