The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/17/2006 In loving memory of Minor Massey Sr., who went home to be with the Lord March 8, 2006. He was born March 16, 1958. Minor loved and lived his life in Cedar Creek. He will be deeply missed by his family. Minor is survived by his daughter, Velda Rose Massey, sons, Marwin Massey, Minor Massey, Jr.; sisters Laverne Altaha, Regina Cosen, Delphine Altaha, Helena Altaha, Gertrude Taylor, Patsy Massey; brothers, Thomas Altaha Jr., Ralph Massey, Guy Massey, Jr.; aunts, Mary Patterson, Eleanor Paxson; uncle, Kennedy Gordon. Minor also is survived by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren and friends. A two-night wake in his remembrance will begin March 17 at 10 a.m. at Mary G. Patterson's residence in Cedar Creek. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 18 at the Cedar Creek Assembly of God Church with Reverend Billy Goins officiating. Burial will be at Red Hill Cemetery in Cedar Creek. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled the arrangements.
