WILHELM, Charlene (Chuck)

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/07/2006 Charlene Hudson Wilhelm, 79, died at her home in St. Johns, March 25, 2006. Charlene, known to her friends as "Chuck," was born April 26, 1926 in Safford. She married Clair Wilhelm July 10, 1948. Chuck was a hardworking, dawn to dusk, cowgirl. She loved to hunt and she loved ranch life. She and husband, Clair, owned and worked the Milky Ranch and the North Ranch near St. Johns for many years. Her survivors include brother Ernest Hudson, Wyo.; sister Sybil Gardner, Phoenix; and many nieces and nephews. Her husband Lloyd Clair Wilhelm, sister Audrey Stahl, parents Herod and Myrtle Hudson and her grandparents Lula and Wiley Hudson and Aubrey and Catherine Anderson. A graveside funeral service was held for Chuck at the St. Johns Westside Cemetery, Wednesday, March 29. Burnham Mortuary, St. Johns handled the arrangements.
