Billie Catherine Pipkin, 73, died at her home in Springerville, March 23, 2006.
Billie had been a resident of Springerville for approximately 33 years. She was born Jan. 1, 1933 at Dumas, Texas. Billie was one of five children born to Peter Brooke and Jessie Marjorie Crabb. She grew up on a farm in the Texas Panhandle. She was active in the Calvary Baptist Church in Dumas and the First Baptist Church in Springerville for many years. She was a homemaker and raised nine children.
Billie loved the scriptures and loved to study and teach the Bible and sing hymns. She spoke often of Heaven and how wonderful it is going to be. She stressed, always how important it is to put your faith in Christ Jesus as your Savior and Lord. Billie had the faith of Abraham and the zeal of scripture of the Apostle Paul. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and taking care of her cats and writing letters.
Her survivors include her sons Pete (Janet) Pipkin, Sunray, Texas; Lance Pipkin, Phoenix; Milton Pipkin, Utah.; Jimmy Pipkin; Utah; Walter Pipkin, Mont.; daughters, Patricia (Ken) Dietz, Austell, Ga.; Martha Dixon, St. Johns; Pauline Smith, Fla..; brother Steve (Beulah), Odessa, Texas; sisters, Belinda Foreman, Dumas, Texas; Marjorie Sweigart, Montezuma, NM; Mary Jane Milton) Allred, Deleon, Texas She had many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son Robert Dunnivan; daughter Susan Monan and grandson Christopher Davis and great grandson Storm Dunnivan..
Billie was a generous individual, making contributions to numerous charities throughout her lifetime. In memory of Billie, donations to your favorite charity in her name would be appropriate and appreciated.

A memorial service was held at Burnham Mortuary, 535 N. Main St., Eagar, Tuesday, March 28, 2006.
