Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, September 30, 2009 Nov. 8, 1918 – Sept. 28, 2009 Mary Helen Flesher, 90, passed away on Monday at Casa Grande Assisted Living Home in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Nov. 8, 1918, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Joy and Idame (Carlson) Adams. Mary moved to Lake Havasu City 3 1/2 years ago from Minneapolis, Minn. She worked as a sales person for JCPenney. Mary was a member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Minneapolis and did a lot of volunteering. She loved her family, which was a joy in her life. Mary enjoyed music and loved sing-a-longs. She also liked to travel and was an avid reader. Mary is survived by her sons, Michael Flesher and wife Sharon, Roy Flesher and wife Diana, Brian Flesher; brother, Bud Adams and wife Vivian; daughter-in-law, Pat Flesher; brother-in-law, Joe Flesher and wife Harriet; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
