Thompson’s Valley West Funeral Chapel Goodyear, Arizona DIANE MELTON Melton, Diane Marlene, 50, of Litchfield Park, passed away June 16, 2010. She was a 10 year breast cancer survivor and had a long, constant battle with Crohn’s disease. Diane, born September 9, 1959, was the daughter of Col. R.R. (Ray) Melton and Margaret (Peggy) Melton. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ronald R. Melton. Diane is survived by her brother, James D. Melton and his wife, Susan of Huntington Beach, CA, sister-in-law, Kathleen A. Melton of Chicago, IL, and her adored nephews and nieces, Richard R. Melton of Show Low, AZ, Robert R. Melton of McLean, VA, Andrew G. Melton and his wife, Casey, of Dallas, TX, Kristine A. Melton of Colorado Springs, CO, Emily K. Melton of Brentwood, CA and Remington R. Melton of Keizer, OR. Diane shared her love of music and strong Christian faith as a talented member of the Chancel and Handbell Choirs at the Church at Litchfield Park for many years. Her family, friends, and beloved pets meant the world to her and she lived each day for them. Donations of remembrance may be made in her name to the Music Ministries at the Church at Litchfield Park and the Arizona Humane Society. A memorial service will be held at 10:00A.M. Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Church at Litchfield Park, 300 North Old Litchfield Road, Litchfield Park, AZ.
