Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, June 22, 2010 Shirley Ann Derfler passed away June 18, 2010, in Lake Havasu City, at the age of 79. She was born on April 1, 1931, in Canton, Ohio, to Paul Fike and Harriett (Ahwiller). Shirley moved to Lake Havasu City two years ago from Fullerton, Calif., where for 12 years she had been a volunteer for the police department. She had managed the family pump business for several years and worked at Disneyland in the early ’70s. Shirley was a stained glass teacher and did all kinds of art and paintings. Shirley leaves behind her son, Dean Derfler and daughters, Cheri Lopez and Debbie Webb and brother, Roger Fike. She was preceded in death by her brother, Phillip Fike.
