Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Tuesday, June 22, 2010 Sarah Needham 76, passed away peacefully at home June 18, 2010, with her family at her side. She was born Nov. 11, 1933, in Hollywood, Ala., to James and Dovie McCrary. Sarah and Dave moved to Lake Havasu City in 1984 from Norwalk, Calif. She had many hobbies such as sewing, gardening and her creative talent was making the beautiful candles at The London Bridge Candle Factory for the past 25 years. She loved her friends at work, Jackie, Gene, Linda, Bob and Judy. Another love was for the Diamondbacks where she never missed a game on TV and was able to attend a few games. Her deepest love, other than her husband, was her kids and all her grandkids. Anyone that met her loved her Southern accent and her infectious smile. Sarah is survived by her soul-mate of 59 years, Dave Needham, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Dave (Debbie) Needham, Lake Havasu City, Rick (Lisa) Needham, Holly Springs, N.C.; daughter, Sue (Bob) Hannegan, Lake Havasu City; 10 grandchildren, Candy Needham, Arkansas, Lissa Needham, California, Trisha (Steve) Skirvin, Lake Havasu City, Leslie (Marc) Marsh, Lake Havasu City, Gillian Needham, Lake Havasu City, Stephanie (Chris) DeVore, Las Vegas, Stacy (Hank), Vellejo, N.M., Richard and Jenna Rose Needham, North Carolina, and Marshall (Christy) Gremard, Lake Havasu City; 13 great-grandchildren, Lauren Needham, California, Steven and Luke Skirvin, Lake Havasu City, Kyle Marsh, Lake Havasu City, Steven Needham (Ciera), Las Vegas, Brittany and Heather DeVore, Las Vegas, Zachary and Tony Vellejo, New Mexico, Ryley Gremard, Lake Havasu City, Cody Bond, Nataylia Deer and Tashauna Amold, Arkansas. and her life long friends and in-laws, Marge and Denny Snyder, Lake Havasu City. Her celebration of life will be private at a later date. Donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
