Alice Bertha Schroder, 79, passed away on Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Havasu Regional Medical Center. She was born on Jan. 25, 1930, in Syracuse, Neb., to Elting D. and Elsie M. (Staack) France.
 
Alice moved to Lake Havasu City 19 years ago from Colorado Springs, Colo. She worked as a bookkeeper for Noonan Machine in Chicago, Ill., for 20 years.

Alice is survived by her daughter, Sally Wood, of Peyton, Colo.; sisters, Norma Gene Anderson, of Crete, Neb., Sharon Marek, of Des Moines, Iowa, Kathyrn Conyers, of Edmond, Okla., and Eunice Prenger, of Omaha, Neb., and Wallace Gudenau (partner), of Lake Havasu City.
