Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Thursday, January 21, 2010 Melinda Jane Willingham, 45, passed away Jan. 14, 2010, in Lake Havasu City. She was born on Feb. 6, 1964, in Anderson, Ind., to William and Anna (Meyer) Cogswell. Melinda was a wonderful stay-at-home mom. She moved to Lake Havasu City 27 years ago from Anaheim, Calif. Melinda is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Walter Willingham; son, Garrett Willingham; daughter, Amanda Willingham; father, William Cogswell, all of Lake Havasu City; brother, Dave Cogswell and wife Teresa, of Edmond, Okla.; sister, Angie Autry and husband Don, of Mt. Baldy, Calif.; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna; and grandmother, Veronika Meyer. Funeral services will be at Lietz-Fraze Chapel Friday at 5 p.m. Words of comfort in inspiration will be expressed by Larry Feist.
