Owens Livingston Mortuary, Show Low, Arizona Joe Ralph Trujillo October 24, 1934 - June 20, 2010 Joe Ralph Trujillo died late Sunday evening, June 20, 2010 at the Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona following a brief illness. He was 75 years. Joe was born on October 24, 1934 in Grants, Cibola County, New Mexico to the late Lorenzo Nicholas and Benita (Selsado) Trujillo. When Joe was 16 years old, he moved to Arizona. He worked as an automotive detailer for many years and was well-liked by his many co-workers and peers. Joe is survived by his wife, Marjorie Dick Trujillo of Sun Valley, Arizona as well as his children. Private family services will be held at a later date. ~~~~~~~~~~~ The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 07/02/2010 Joe Ralph Trujillo, 75, died late Sunday, June 20, 2010, at 10:44 p.m. at the Flagstaff Medical Center with his wife, kids and family at his side. Joe was born Oct. 24, 1934 in Grants, N.M. to the late Lorenzo Nicholas and Benita (Selsado) Trujillo. Joe moved to Arizona in the 1950s. He worked for the City of Holbrook. He also worked at Duke City Lumber in Winslow, until the '70s driving a backloader, lumber, etc. He then worked at the Western Moulding Saw Mill in Snowflake. He worked at Hewerds, Tate's Auto as an automotive detailer until he retired in the 1990s and was well-liked by his many coworkers and peers. Joe and Marjorie Trujillo was married for 24 years. He enjoyed fishing. He loved to play the guitar. He enjoyed his grandkids. His hobbies were carving and making jewelry boxes with his collections of knives. He was a wonderful, hardworking man. His family was important to him. He will be missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Trujillo of Sun Valley; daughters Josie (Ramond) Vigil of Albuquerque, N.M. and Socorro (Mike) Telles of Los Lunas, N.M.; sons David (Tina) Trujillo and Lorenzo Guzman of Albuquerque, N.M.; step-children Margaret (Eric Christopher) Sales of Holbrook, Maria Warner of Sun Valley, Maggie (Michael) Shepherd of Flagstaff and Riddo Benally of Winslow. He has 27 grandkids, 37 great grandkids and three great-great grandkids. Joe was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers, Racheal Sandavol, Challo Trujillo and Rebecca Blanco of Holbrook, Frances Collins of Calif., Sikey Trujillo of Phoenix and Cipriano Trujillo of Holbrook. Funeral service were held June 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Holbrook. Joe's wishes were to be cremated and to have his ashes spread in Grants, N.M. by his wife and kids.
