MORLAND, James Frederick

James Frederick Morland, 89, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Aug. 12, 2009, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sarah; a brother, Albert Morland, who lives in Bournemouth, England; six children, 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

James was a World War II veteran, serving his country proudly in the Royal Air Force as a Lancaster Bomber pilot, flying numerous missions over Europe.

James and his wife Sarah lived in Lake Havasu City for a number of years. They really loved the area and made many friends while living there.

A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 13 at the United Methodist Church, 3757 S. Ponderosa Drive, Evergreen, CO, 80439.
