Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, July 29, 2009 William Charles Reichel, 86, passed away on July 4, 2009, at Desert Springs Hospital in Las Vegas. He was born on July 23, 1922, in Milwaukee, Wis., to William Martin and Laura (Leuders) Reichel. William proudly served his country in the United States Army. He moved to Lake Havasu City 40 years ago from El Segundo, Calif., and worked as a courtesy clerk for Safeway in Lake Havasu City for 5 1/2 years. William is survived by his sister, Betty Badgley and husband Neil, of Palm Desert, Calif.; nephews, Gary and Kenneth Jackson and niece, Julie Martini. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 1/2 years, Ruth Reichel, who passed away on Aug. 4, 1994. A memorial service will be held at Community Presbyterian Church on Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. Words of wisdom and inspiration will be expressed by Rev. David Bybee.
