Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, July 29, 2009 Mamie Grace Lemen, 82, passed away Monday, July 27, 2009, in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Robert and Eva (Hardwick) Parker on Nov. 27, 1926, in Clarksville, Texas. Mamie married her best friend Calvin Lemen Aug. 6, 1966, and together they made Lake Havasu City their home 15 years ago from Winters, Calif. She loved sewing, reading, cooking and going to Laughlin. She also had a special collection of spoons and bells. Mamie leaves behind her beloved husband of almost 43 years, Calvin Lemen, of Lake Havasu City; son, George W. Fite, of Lake Havasu City; daughter, Brenda Hisel, of Lake Havasu City; step-daughter, Terry Poach; brothers, Leonard Parker, of Beult, Ore., and Ed Parker, of Washougal, Wash.; five grandchildren, Troy, Stephen, Kathleen, Terry and Jimmy and 15 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dog, Tippy. A visitation will take place Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze visitation room. Graveside services will be held at Monument Hill Memorial Park in Woodland, Calif., Monday at 11 a.m. Donations may be made in Mamie’s name to Hospice of Havasu, P.O.
