The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 06/25/2010 Jeanita (James) Skidmore entered into rest June 20, 2010, in Whiteriver. She was born Feb. 5, 1964, in Whiteriver. Jeanita is survived by her husband Lloyd Skidmore; son Lindell Edwards; daughter Lydia Amroke; stepsons Orlando J. Skidmore and Boellis Skidmore; granddaughter Lorrie Angel Edwards; mother-in-law Cornelia B. Skidmore; brothers-in-law Ronne Skidmore, Emer Skidmore, Lemanuel Skidmore; godson Sherwin Johnson; uncles Larry James, Ramsey Bullock; aunts Beulah Thompson, Nina Albert; nieces Winnie Declay, Davina James, Marcia James, Rhoda Kay Holden; nephews Jason Declay, TJ James, Rotino James, Dewight James; grandmother Cecila Danford and many relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by mother Jenny James; father Vincent James; sisters Jeanette James, Jennifer George; brothers Vinton James Sr., Rotan James, Dallas James Sr., Vinson James and father-in-law Dewey Skidmore. Jeanita's body will be brought back to her residence (117 W. Old Sawmill Rd) in Whiteriver for a two-night wake starting Saturday, June 26, at 10 a.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 28, at 1 p.m. at the North Fork Miracle Church in Whiteriver with Pastor Lex Baha officiating. Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery. Silver Creek Chapel Mortuary of Whiteriver handled arrangements.
