Beverly Lou Sivesind, 71, died Monday, March 20, 2006.
She was born in Waterloo, Iowa. She married Earl Maurice Sivesind at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Iowa on September 12, 1954. In 1959 she moved to Moon Ark, Calif. She moved again in 1964 to Simi Valley and worked a Burroughs Corporation in Westlake Village as an inspector. After her husband's retirement in 1978 they moved to Clay Springs. Beverly enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was known for her Hungarian Goulash and always found time to play games with her family and neighbors. She was a born again Christian and was looking forward to meeting Jesus. In recent days she would tell her family she was "Ready to go home and be with Jesus." She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Show Low.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Earl M. Sivesind of Clay Springs; daughter, Mary Lou (Dell) Harrington of Chandler; sons, David E. Sivesind, Sr of Santa Clarita, Calif., Jeff (Danette) Sivesind of Menefee, Calif.; grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff) Nice of Mesa, Derek Harrington of Gilbert, David Sivesind, Jr. of Santa Clarita, Calif. and Tiffanie Sivesind of Santa Clarita, Calif.; and great-grandchildren, Lexi and Brooklyn Lou Nice.
Memorial Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 1, at the First Baptist Church in Show Low. Interment will be in the Show Low Cemetery.
