PALTI, Brenda Jo

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/31/2006 Brenda Jo Palti, 64, died March 26, 2006 in Lakeside. She was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma, and grew up in Booker, Texas. When she was 16, she moved to California for nursing school at U.S.C. and became a Registered Nurse. While in California she met Joseph M. Palti. They were married a year later and then moved to Dallas, Texas. Two years later they returned to Arcadia, Calif. where she worked as an R.N. for a plastic surgeon, Dr. Tim Hughes. They remained there for 16 years before moving to Holbrook and later to Snowflake. Mrs. Palti is survived by her husband, Joseph M. Palti of Snowflake; two daughters, Desiree Standridge of Dallas, Texas, and Camara Selinski of Sausalito, Calif.; two brothers, Kenny Ray John of Pocatello, Idaho and Leslie John of Irving, Calif.; one sister, Debra Ann McQuitty of Booker, Texas; and three grandchildren.
