GRAVES, Cameron Allen


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 03/31/2006 Laura Kay Parker Graves and her three children: Kaleb, Kelsey, and Cameron returned home to their Heavenly Father, as a result of an automobile accident near Rawlins, Wyoming on their way home to Colorado Sunday, March 26, 2006. Laura Kay Parker Graves, 40, was born Dec. 2, 1965 at Clark Air Base, in the Phillipines, to Monica and Gary Howard Parker. Laura attended Morgan High School and was on the drill team and was the Valedictorian of her graduating class in 1984. In 1986, Laura married Curtis Graves for time and all eternity in the Ogden Temple. She then went on to graduate from Weber State University with an Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene. Laura was an exceptional mother who spent countless hours playing with her children and was a devoted and loving wife. She enjoyed crafts and spending time with the young women in her church. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and has served in many capacities; the latest as a Stake Camp Coordinator. She was quick to make friends and always had a beautiful smile to share. Her absence will leave a lasting affect on the countless lives she touched and the people she loved. She is survived by her husband, Curtis Graves, of Confier, Colorado; her mother and step-father; Monica and Robert Brown, Mt. Green, Utah. She is also survived by her father and step-mother, Gary and Linda Parker, Rosehill, Kan.; her two brothers, Steve (LeAnn) Parker, Blanding, Utah and Russell Parker of Rosehill, KS. Kelsey Rae Graves, 16, was born May 2, 1989 in Ogden, Utah to Laura Kay and Curtis Graves. Kelsey was a Junior at Confier High School and was studying to be a nail technician. She had also attended Morgan High School. Kelsey made friends very easily. She was always serving and helping others whenever she could. She enjoyed pencil art, crafts and spending time at camp with her mom and friends. Kelsey spent a lot of time talking with her brothers and spending quality time with her best friend, her mom. Kaleb Curtis Graves, 18, was born September 15, 1987 in Ogden, Utah to Laura Kay and Curtis Graves. Kaleb was a Senior at Conifer High School. He also attended Morgan High School and Blue Ridge High School in Lakeside. Kaleb loved and played basketball, golf, football and played for the Conifer Lobos. He was planning on serving a mission in September. Kaleb excelled at both academics and sports; achieving the highest awards. He loved music and played the guitar very well. He led by example and made many friends, at each high school, who loved and respected his leadership qualities. Cameron Allen Graves, 14, was born August 25, 1991 in Ogden, Utah to Laura Kay and Curtis Graves. Cameron was in the eighth grade at West Jefferson Middle School. Cameron loved and excelled at basketball and all sports; he had a very competitive nature and was constantly challenging his older brother and had fun teasing and playing with his sister. He loved to play the drums and guitar. The Graves children lived their short lives with honor and respect and were loved by many. Everyone knows that Laura and the children were the most important thing in Curtis' life and that he enjoyed every moment with them and loved them beyond measure. Anyone who met the Graves family knew they had a special bond and would be an eternal family; together forever. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 31 at 11 a.m. at the Enterprise LDS Church, 2755 West Old Highway Road, Enterprise, Utah. Friends and family may pay their respects Friday, March 31 from 9:30-10:45 a.m. at the Enterprise Church. Interment will be in the Mt. Green Cemetery.
