CARDER, Lois Arlene

(Maiden Name: Brockman)

Lois Arlene Carder was taken from this life on June 18, 2010 at her home in Tucson, Arizona. She was born December 31, 1943 to the late Fred and Henrietta Brockman on the family farm in Danforth, Illinois. She was the youngest of three children. After graduating from Gilman High School and Deaconess School of Nursing, Lois began her life's work of caring for others. 

This caring continued even after death as Lois left her body to the Life Legacy Foundation for research. Lois' presence will be missed by her two children, Christopher and Jennifer Wood; two grandchildren, Sabrina and Vann Wood; her brother, Herman Brockman; sister-in-law, Judy Talley, many other relatives from both sides of her family and countless friends and co-workers. 

A Memorial of her life will be held at her home Friday, June 25, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. With just a single flower from each life she touched with her soft smile and gentle ways, Lois will forever walk in a beautiful garden.
