KANUHO, Ricky

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/07/2006 Ricky Kanuho, 38, died Thursday, March 30, 2006 in Eloy. He was born in Keams Canyon, and raised in Holbrook. Ricky graduated from Holbrook High School in 1987. While in school he wrestled and played football. Following school he attended Bacone Junior College in Oklahoma and then Northern University of Oklahoma. He returned to Holbrook after college and worked for Tate's Auto Center briefly before joining the Electrician and Pipe Fitters Union No. 469. He continued working in construction until the time of his passing. Ricky is survived by his companion, Isabelle Murillo of Eloy; children, Darren Kanuho of Holbrook, Camy Kanuho and Shawn Kanuho both of Kingman; parents, Raymond and Shirley of Kanuho of Holbrook; brothers, Alexander Kanuho of Indian Wells, Roscoe Kanuho and Enrique Kanuho both of Holbrook; sisters, Debbie Haley of Peoria and Cherlynn Kanuho of Holbrook; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Susan Gishie of Indian Wells, four aunts and four uncles. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 7 at the Holbrook Stake Center, viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Owens Mortuary in Holbrook.
