Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Monday, July 13, 2009 January 21, 1934 – June 22, 2009 William (Bill) T. Roberts, Sr., a resident of Lake Havasu City, passed away in Kingman, as a result of surgery complications. Bill was born Jan. 21, 1934 to Archie and Helen Welch. Bill was preceded in death by Joyce Roberts and his parents, Archie and Helen Welch. He is survived by his children, Randy, Terry and Bill Roberts; Cindi Garlington and Kathy Harrell; their mother Jeanne Nickerson; brother Gary Welch; aunt Doris Halstead; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services were provided by Brune Funeral Home in Bishop, Calif., on July 3, followed by the burial at East Line Street Cemetery, also in Bishop. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Bill's name.
