Joyce Louise Miller, 48, died Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at Navapache Regional Medical Center in Show Low. 
     
She was born in LaJunta, Colorado. Her family moved to Yuma when she was a baby. Joyce attended elementary school in Yuma. Her family moved to Tempe where she graduated from Tempe High School in 1975. Following school, she married and moved to Sedona where she lived for many years and worked as a bartender.
       
Joyce is survived by her daughters, Jessica J. Miller and Nicole R. Vierck both of Mesa; her mother, Mary Alcon-Young of Pinetop; her father, Reuben O. Lopez of El Centro, CA; one grandson, Markus Ayers of Mesa.
       
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
