Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, Arizona Published Wednesday, July 1, 2009 Myrtle June Bezanson, 75, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Lake Havasu City. She was born to Ralph and May (McVea) Schencks Oct. 31, 1933, in Haverhill, Mass. June, as she was known to her family and friends, married her teenage sweetheart, Charles “Buzzy” Bezanson April 18, 1953. Together, with her family, they relocated to Lake Havasu City because of her love for the heat. She was a member of the London Bridge Square Dancers Club and had a passion for horses. June was a great and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the glue that kept the family together. June leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Charles Bezanson, of Lake Havasu City; sons, Charles (Sue) Bezanson and Dan (Kelly) Bezanson, both of Plaistow, N.H., Rick (Diane) Bezanson, of Lake Havasu City, and Russell Bezanson, of Berthoud, Colo.; daughter Wanda (Bill) McCarthy, of Haverhill, Mass.; 12 grandchildren, Terri, Bill, Melinda, Jamie, Melissa, Randy, Jackie, Brian, Brad, Courtney, Tanya and Taylor; and three great-grandchildren. A visitation will take place today 6-8 p.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be on Thursday, 11 a.m. at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Words of comfort and inspiration will be presented by Pastor Mike Moorhead. Services and interment will take place in Plaistow, N.H., at a later date.
