ALTAHA, Darvin

The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 04/14/2006 Darvin Altaha went home to be with the Lord March 31, 2006 at the Whiteriver Hospital. He was born Oct. 2, 1982. Darvin is survived by his parents, Elvin Altaha, Sr. and Marion Altaha; brothers, Elvin, Jr. and Aaron Altaha; sisters, Lisa, Marissa K and Elmaria Altaha; grandmothers, Martha Antonio and Serena Altaha; god brother, Derrick Truax; god sister, Denise Zahgotah; 10 aunts, Bernita Truax, Juanda Antonio, Jolinda Antonio, Darlene Pailzote, Arlene Tate, Marna Altaha, Jackie Altaha, Cindy Altaha and Janice Altaha; three uncles, Leon Quintero, Jerrell Antonio and Darrell Altaha; sister-in-law, Tonna Altaha. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Frank Altaha, his brother, Derrick Altaha and his cousin Daniel Holden. A two-night wake was held Saturday, April 8 at Martha Antonio's residence in Canyon Day. Funeral Services were held Monday April 10 at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church with Pastor Marvin Begay officiating. Burial was in the Canyon Day Cemetery.
