Stephen Todd Lakebrink died of leukemia April 6, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. after a very brief illness. 
      
Stephen was born Oct. 19, 1957 in Union, Missouri. In 1961 he moved with his parents and sister to Sullivan, Missouri where he attended local schools. He graduated from Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield in 1981.
      
Stephen is survived by his wife, Julie Lakebrink; step-sons and
step-grandsons of Cordova, Tenn.; his mother, Jennie Hill (Russell) of Eagar; daughter, Nicole Collins of Springfield, Miss.; sister, Kellie (Steve) Mason, niece and nephew, Jessica and Timothy of Farmington, N.M.
       
A memorial service will be held Saturday April 29 at 2 p.m. at
the First Presbyterian Church in Sullivan, Miss. A contribution to the
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society or other organization of your choice is suggested in lieu of flowers.
      
He was preceded in death by his father, Don Lakebrink, in 1986.
