Monica Ann Urias Ahumada was born April 26, 1961 in Tucson, Arizona.
After a long and courageous battle with kidney and liver disease, Monica went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2009.
She is preceded in death by her godson, Theodore James; paternal grandparents, Gilbert and Josephine Urias; maternal grandparents, Manuel and Hortencia Perez, and her nino, Conrad Gissart.
She will be missed and is loved by her son, Carlos "Boo Boo"; parents, Teddy and Evelyn Urias; sisters, Anna (James) Perry, Maree (Randy) Buono and Lorie (Santos) Calvillo; nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Danielle, Anessa, Amber, Adam, Brenden, Ashley, Alex, Christian, and many uncles, aunts, cousins and close friends.
Special thanks to the staff at UMC - ICU 5 East and Catalina Care Center. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, January 22, 2009, 10:00 a.m. at Saints Peter and Paul Church. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Life is not forever, love is.
