ARRIAGA, Ramiro J. (Ray)


Ramiro J. Arriaga "Ray" 71, passed away May 6, 2010. Preceded in death by his parents, Eva Jacobs Arriaga and Ramiro Arriaga. Survived by wife, Lynn; stepsons, Tyo and Noel (Angela) Leonard; grandchildren, Sophia, Nina, Rachel, Adam and his only surviving aunt, Isola Jacobs Martinez, 98 years old. Also survived by many cousins that loved him. Ray was from the Pioneer Jacobs family. He was founder of Tucson Rapa River Gem and Mineral Show for 15 years. He retired after 33 years from the Department of Revenue and was involved in Model Cities. We will miss you, Pelingy, Tata, Ray. Visitation will be held Monday, May 17, 2010, 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel) 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass will follow, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery.
