BARRY, James, April 12, 2007. Jim was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 31, 1946. He was a resident of Tucson, Arizona since 1968. Jim worked at Tucson Electric Power for more than 38 years. He was an avid cyclist who participated in 15 El Tour De Tucsons, capturing the gold or platinum medals. His favorite riding partner and friend was John Burbank, they shared many discussions and long rides together. He also enjoyed scuba diving and obtained a black belt in karate with his son Michael. He was a sports enthusiast and enjoyed discussing his love of boxing and basketball.
Jim is survived by his wife Susan Barry. They were married for 32 years. He is also survived by his son Michael Barry and his fiancée Rebecca Cooper (Denver, Colorado); and his two brothers, Michael John Barry (Tucson) and Patrick Barry (Los Angeles, CA).
