BOJORQUEZ, Rosa (Rosita)

Rosa Chavez Bojorquez Our beloved wife, mother, nana, sister and friend passed peacefully in the presence of her family on Thursday, February 15, 2007 after a short battle with liver cancer. "Rosita" was born in Teoloycuan, Edo. de Mexico on September 4, 1934. Rosita is survived by her husband of nearly 49 years, Jesus; daughter, Josephine; son, Jesus (Amy); grandchildren, Vanessa, Chrisanna, A.J., Joey, Brett, Madyson and baby to be Hannah; extended family and countless friends. Her family wishes to thank all of the friends and family whose love and support have been such a source of comfort and strength. Though we will miss Rosita more than we can contemplate at this time, we take solace in the knowledge that she is free. A viewing will be held on Friday, February 23rd from 5:00 - 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (North Chapel), 204 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24th 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery. The family wishes to thank St. Mary's Hospice nurses and staff for their compassion and care. In lieu of flowers, we request donations to St. Mary's Hospice.
