BORBOA, Ramon (Mon Borby)

Ramon Borboa, "Mon Borby", 81, was born June 23, 1928 and went to heavenly peace on November 29, 2009. He was born and raised in Tucson on Convent Avenue and retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad after 40 years of service. Dad served his country by joining the Marines for World War II and then with the Army for Korea. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Juana; brothers, Francisco, Antonio and William; sister, Socorro. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Mary "Cuca" and his two sons, Ramon and Ruben; daughter-In-law, Rita; two grandsons, Ramon III and Patricio and one sister, Josephina. Visitation will be held Monday, December 7, 2009, 8:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (North Chapel) 204 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. at St. Monica's Church, 212 W. Medina. Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. Arrangements by CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY, INC.
