Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Sunday, June 27, 2010 Elizabeth Mae "Beth" Williamson, 67, died Friday, June 18, 2010, in Flagstaff, after a long battle with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Mrs. Williamson was born June 21, 1942, in Oregon City, Ore., to the late Otto and Myrta Peters. She was raised in Eureka, Calif., and attended Eureka Senior High School and Humboldt State College. She received a teaching degree from San Jose State College. Her places of residence during her adult life included Santa Cruz, Calif., Redding, Calif., Great Falls, Mont., and Flagstaff. Mrs. Williamson was kind-hearted and easy-going. She had a way of catching people off guard with her keen sense of humor. One of her favorite pastimes was dancing and singing to Elvis. The family wishes to express their thanks for the loving care and attention given to Mrs. Williamson by The Pines, Flagstaff Medical Center, The Peaks and Hospice. Mrs. Williamson is survived by her son Raphael (Amy) of Hanover, N.H.; three grandchildren; her devoted sister Kathy Peterson of Flagstaff; one nephew; and one niece.
