Ramona Romero Benton died peacefully April 1, 2006 at her daughter's home in Queen Creek with her family by her side. 
   
Ramona is survived by her three daughters, Janet Eagar Silvas and family; and one great-grandson of Springfield, Mo., Robin Mann and family of Queen Creek, Sloane Cunningham of Plano, Texas; sisters, Clyda Osborne of Taylor, Aurelia Stann and family of Taylor, Viola Kaplan and family of Show Low, Angell (Vangy) Winston of Reno, Nevada.
      
Ramona was preceded in death by her father Pete Romero of Springerville; mother, Mercy Romero of Springerville; brother, Pete Jr. of Springerville; and two sisters who died at birth.
