"Antonia Fimbres Catalano 1940-2009 Antonia Fimbres Catalano, of Tucson, Ariz. passed away on July 28, 2009, at the age of 69. She was born June 23, 1940 in Willcox, Ariz. Antonia and her husband Ernesto were married on Aug. 4, 1962 at St. Augustine's Cathedral in Tucson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Ernestina Fimbres. Survivors include husband, Ernesto; sons Leonard, Anthony (Alice), Arthur, and Gabriel; sisters, Amelia Saldivar, Frances (Luis) Moreno, and Ernestina (Jack) Robinson; grandsons, Marcus Giovanni, Thomas; three granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. Antonia loved serving and being with her family. She was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed baking, sunsets, and praying for others. Visitation was held on Monday, Aug. 3, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Carrillo's Tucson Mortuary South Chapel, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Mass was offered on Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral. Interment followed at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
