CHILDRESS, Darlene

Darlene Childress, born March 27, 1931, passed away on December 4, 2009. She was our beloved mother, grandmother, and a friend to many in the community. She first came to Tucson with her husband, who was in the U.S. Air Force, and later retired from J.C. Penney after a career in sales. She is survived by her four sons, John (Kathy), Frank (Cheryl), Roger (Amy) and Robert; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway. Please join us for Funeral Services on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., at Our Mother of Sorrows church, 1800 S. Kolb Rd. Burial to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery, 3555 N. Oracle Rd.
