COMER, Laura, 93, of Tucson, passed from this earth on January 20, 2003. 

She is survived by brothers, John and Fernleigh Judge of England; son, Greg of Colorado; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, John and Laura Judge; brothers, Frank and David Judge; husband, Vernon; son, Donald; and daughter, Vernette Fitzpatrick. Laura was born in Plymouth, England on October 4, 1909. She found opportunity in America, traveling to Ellis Island at the age of 14 to live with relatives in Chicago. She married Vernon in April of 1928 and they raised three children in Lockport, Illinois. 

Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carondelet Hospice. Arrangements by VALLEY FUNERAL HOME.
