MANUEL, Daniel Steven, Sr.

PIA OIK - Daniel Steven Manuel Sr., 64, died Dec. 29, 2006 at Casa de la Luz Hospice in Tucson, with his family by his side.

The wake will begin at 5 p.m. today at the Manuel home in Pia Oik, Tohono O'odham Nation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7 a.m. Saturday by the Rev. Tom Frost. 

Burial will be in Pia Oik.

Mr. Manuel was a veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Stella; three daughters, Trina Sam of Casa Grande, Diane Manuel of Gu Vo and Berdella Manuel of Pia Oik; two sons, Daniel S. Manuel Jr. and Zaniel Manuel of Pia Oik; a sister, Frances Cachora of Pia Oik; a brother, Dennis Manuel of Pia Oik; and 13 grandchildren.
