MOSER, Dora Marie


The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 05/05/2006 Dora Marie Moser, 84, died May 1, 2006 at Navapache Regional Medical Center in Show Low. She was born Nov. 8, 1921 in Whitley City, Kentucky. She worked as a custodian for Snowflake High School prior to her retirement. She also owned and operated her own business, Apache Ribbons and Trophies, for many years. Dora was a family history enthusiast and spent much of her spare time submitting names to the Family History Department of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also enjoyed being grandmother to her grandchildren and 'PA-PA' to her great-grandchildren. Dora is survived by one son, Paul Daniel (Janet) Moser, Jr. of Clarkston, Wash.; two daughters, Diane (Charley) Carroll and Eleanor 'Dee' Fichman both of Heber; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Flora Kear of Apache Junction. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Daniel Moser, Sr. in 1979. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 5 at the Taylor Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with a visitation one hour prior to services at the church and from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at Owens Mortuary in Snowflake. Burial will follow in the RV Mike Ramsay Memorial Cemetery. Owens Mortuary of Snowflake handled arrangements.
