CORONADO, Frank G.


Frank G. Coronado, Jr. 71, owner of Del Ray Barber Shop, where he worked for 48 years, finally took his long deserved vacation to Heaven on Thursday, August 28, 2008. Mr. Coronado was a life-long resident of Tucson, AZ. He is survived and loved by his beloved wife of 52 years, Jobita; daughters, Sandra Ann Santa Cruz (Ronnie), Estella Cruz (Juan) and Michelle Salcido (Armando); sons, Frank Coronado, III (Karla) and Alfonso Coronado; grandchildren, Carlos, Derek, Anastassia, Brieann, Sergio, Peter, Mandito, Alina, Klarissa, A.J., Erik and Persaius; mother-in-law, Maria M. Hernandez and his brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, beloved sister, Irene Salazar and brother, Fernando Coronado. He was born March 23, 1937 in Tucson, Arizona the son of Frank and Elvira Coronado, Sr. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Our family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to his "extended family", his loyal customers. You were very special to him and to us. He was "Tata" and "Nino" to so many. He will be greatly missed! Semper Fi! Semper Fi! Visitation will be held at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 4, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson, AZ. Arrangements entrusted to MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS, 2580 S. 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ.
