CRUZ, Alicia Pino

Arizona Daily Star, B5, Nov. 24, 2007 Alicia Pino Cruz born January 13, 1916, died November 17, 2007. Preceded in death by husband, Ignacio Cruz; son, Robert Cruz; and daughter, Gloria Romero. She is survived by son, Ignacio P. (Margaret) Cruz; daughters, Mary (Gilbert) Romero, Norma Alice (Angel) Piñon, Bertha (Jesse) Rialmo. Also survived by son-in-law, Alex Romero; and daughter-in-law, Gloria Cruz; plus 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Alicia was always there with strength, truth, honesty, and kindness to guide and counsel. We appreciate all that helped in caring for her especially granddaughter, Virginia O'Brian, Goddaughter Aracely Meza and all at Carondelet Hospice. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 25, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at CARRILLO'S TUCSON MORTUARY (South Chapel), 240 S. Stone Ave., with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be offered Monday, November 26, 2007, 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine's Cathedral, 192 S. Stone Ave. Interment to follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
