Helen Cunliffe, 97, died peacefully on April 14, 2010, following a short illness. She was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, to Mary Cecilia McGuire Keily and John Michael Keily. Helen attended nurse's training at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, where she worked with Doctors Charles and William Mayo. Helen served at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Havana, Cuba, during World War II, then signed on with Anaconda Mining Co. to work at their hospital in Chuquicamata, Chile, where she met her husband of 58 years, Maurice, who predeceased her. They moved to Tucson in 1956. She is survived by her son, John Charles (Susan); daughter, Margaret Anne Roderick (Llew); and three grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Eleanor and Beatrice. She was predeceased by her sisters, Irene, Mildred and Ruth and daughter, Mary Cecelia. Mass will be offered 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 16, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 8650 N. Shannon Road. Burial to follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 15, 2010 at BRING'S MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 236 S.
