DENAULT, Alfred Patrick (Frenchy)


Alfred Patrick "Frenchy" Denault MSgt Retired Patrick was born on 17 March 1928 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island and went to be with our heavenly Father on 9 March 2007 surrounded by family after many years of coping with the effects of a stroke. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Alfred F. and Louisa and his great-granddaughter, Gabrielle who he can now cradle in heaven. He is survived by Angela, his wife of 58 years; children, Patricia (Tim), Mary Catherine (John), Alfred (Patty), Cynthia (Arnold) and Rita Ann; ten grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. He was lovingly referred to as "Uncle Pat" by his many nieces and nephews, some who thought of him as their father, especially, Linda and Celina. He is also survived by his sisters, Lucia, Louisa and Beatrice; brothers, Thomas and Jean all from the New England States and Manny of California. He joined the Army Air Corps in 1946 and was stationed at Davis Monthan AFB in 1948. He meet and married Angela Coronado and remained in Tucson for the duration of his life. He joined the 162 Fighter Wing, then a Fighter Group in 1957 just months after its inception and retired after 30 years of military service. He was a member of the American Legion, a charter member of the St. John's Knights of Columbus Council 8854 and a 4th degree Sir Knight of Bishop Gercki's Council. Visitation will be at MARTINEZ FUNERAL CHAPELS on Wednesday, March 14, 2007 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be Thursday, March 15, 2007 at St. John's Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Hope Cemetery.
