Carolyn J. Ellis 80, of Tucson died Tuesday, November 26, 2002 surrounded by her loving family.
Born Carolyn Joan Depcrynski on October 25, 1922 in Republic, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, William and siblings, John, Andrew, Julia, Anna, Mary and Libby. She is survived by children, Thomas (Maureen), Matthew, Mark, John (Laurie) and Carolyn; grandchildren, Lori, Thomas, Michael, Sean, Julie and Joel; great grandchildren, Hayley, Zachary, Alec and Abigail, and sisters, Millie and Nellie, many nieces and nephews and special friends, Greg Coffman and Carole Tucker. Carolyn was a member of St. John's Catholic Parish since 1949 and volunteered in many of its functions. She was a devoted wife and mother who will forever be in our hearts. Her chicken tacos and nut horns will be sorely missed.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either St. John's Parish Endowment, 602 W. Ajo, Tucson 85713 OR Casa de los Ninos, 1101 N. 4th Ave., Tucson 85705 in her name.
Mass will be offered at noon, Tuesday, December 3, 2002 at St. John's Catholic Church, 602 W. Ajo. Burial to follow in Holy Hope Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, December 2nd at Bring's Memorial Chapel, 236 S. Scott with the rosary recited at 7:00 PM.
